New Report on Student Debt Cancellation during the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Center co-sponsored a new report — co-authored by the Center's own Jonathan Glater — on cancelling a particular form of student debt that ballooned during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The report is a collaboration between the Student Borrower Protection Center, NextGen Policy, the UCI Student Loan Law Inititative, The Higher Education Race and the Economy Lab at UC Merced, and the Debt Collection Lab at Princeton University.
