We have a new paper out today, “Strengthening Worker and Consumer Protections Through City Procurement,” as part of The Century Foundation and Protect Borrowers’ Affordable NYC Now project, an economic agenda detailing ways the Mamdani Administration can act today to make life more affordable for New Yorkers.
Our paper, authored by Shelmun Dashan and Ted Mermin, is part of the second release focused on holding corporations accountable in New York City. The first part, focused on lowering costs, was released two weeks ago and the next, focused on making government work for people, is coming soon.
